What is it like to own a De-Googled phone
De-Googled phones are given a fresh new Android operating system that looks and functions the same way as any other Android phone, just without anything invasive. All of our DeGoogled phones are installed with alternative apps to the ones you usually use. So, instead of Google Maps, you will find Magic Earth. Instead of YouTube, you will find NewPipe. Instead of Google Play store, you will find F-Droid and Aurora store etc... Whatever you will likely need, we've got you covered!
It's important to understand that your De-Googled phone has been stripped of all software that has the ability to spy on you or intrude on your privacy. This means Apps like WhatsApp, Google Maps, Facebook and Instagram are not present on a DeGoogled phone, nor should they be added to one. Although you can if you like, but then you start to compromise your privacy again.
Another benefit of owning a DeGoogled phone is usually superior battery life and performance too!
